About Us
Phoenix Rising Aviation was founded in 2002, in Fayetteville Arkansas by Warren Peck and Pete Cranick. Both Warren and Pete came from a factory authorized service center for Dassault Falcon Jet, Pete as the Head of Airframe maintenance and Warren as a Falcon F20 Captain. The goal was to leverage their expertise in the legacy Falcon airframes and offer personalized service at a reasonable price. The combination of skill sets between Pete’s maintenance and Warren’s pilot backgrounds were unique in the MRO industry. Although Pete retired in 2010, his long-time co-worker John Thompson continues the Falcon maintenance expertise within the company still today.
As the company quickly expanded the need for larger hangar space prompted the move to Bartlesville Oklahoma (KBVO) in 2005. Today, PRA occupies three hangars spanning over 50,000 square feet. The combination of hangar space with a highly skilled workforce allows PRA the ability to offer large shop capabilities such as heavy C Checks, wing de-mating, avionics installs, corrosion mitigation, among several other services, all while keeping the small shop service approach.

Our President, Warren Peck, is a former USAF Fighter Pilot and Safety Officer. As a Pilot, he is Type Rated for the F10, F20, F50, and F900 Dassault Falcon models.
The excellence instilled in him with the USAF is evident in the operations at Phoenix Rising Aviation. His methodology continues along that same path of excellence. The highest quality service with a cost-effective focus is the goal of operations at Phoenix Rising Aviation.
John Thompson

Since joining Phoenix Rising Aviation in 2003, John Thompson has played a crucial role in the continued success of the company. His exceptional skill set, true passion for the Classic Line of Dassault Falcon Jets has kept our business growing each year. He truly is the Falcon Guy, his years of experience has fine-tuned his troubleshooting and honed his mechanical abilities to a sharp point.

KBVO Bartlesville Municipal Airport
Phoenix Rising Aviation is proudly located at Bartlesville Municipal Airport (KBVO) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
KBVO has deep roots in the legacy of aviation and the oil industry, both of which are cornerstones of the city’s identity. Its story is closely intertwined with The Phillips Petroleum Company, founded in Bartlesville in 1917 by Frank and L.E. Phillips. Even before the airport’s establishment, aviation had already taken flight in the city through the Phillips 66 Aviation Department, one of the first corporate flight departments in the nation, founded in 1926 by aviation pioneer W.D. “Billy” Parker. This early embrace of flight helped establish Bartlesville as a hub of innovation in both energy and aviation.
KBVO officially began operations in 1949 and has since evolved into a well-regarded facility that supports a wide range of aviation services. Today, the airport spans nearly 430 acres, is home to around 50 aircraft, and serves as a gateway to Bartlesville’s skies. It is owned by the city and contracts fuel services through Phillips 66® Aviation, continuing its legacy of corporate partnership. Under the leadership of longtime manager Mike Richardson, who began working at the airport at age 19, KBVO has maintained a reputation for cleanliness, safety, and outstanding customer service. Beyond private and charter flights, the airport supports agricultural sprayers, cargo haulers, and third-party businesses that employ over 40 people. As the airport looks to the future, it plans to expand hangar space, improve accessibility, and support the continued growth of Phoenix Rising Aviation, a major MRO specializing in Dassault aircraft. KBVO stands today not only as a vital transportation hub but as a living testament to Bartlesville’s pioneering spirit and enduring connection to aviation excellence.
